Ministry leaders are burning out in record numbers. Missionaries are leaving their fields of ministry, pastors are quitting and depressed. 70% of all these issues are PREVENTABLE. So who cares for the care-givers? Who pastors the heart of a shepherd? We do! With your help and support you can be a significant part of their restoration, encouragement, care, and ongoing ministry. Those we care for plant churches, fight for the unborn, help refugees, care for orphans…every ministry you have a heart for has a person who gets worn down, exhausted, and needs the same tender loving care each of us do. We provide the care, the table, the space for them to be refreshed in Jesus.

About Oasis Rest 

Oasis Rest International exists to impact all nations for Christ by strengthening the vitality of Christian leaders through hosted places of skilled personalized care. Oasis Rest was created by ministry leaders for ministry leaders. Founded in 2003 by David and Sheri Grissen, missionaries with The Navigators for over 30-years, they understood the needs of ministry leaders and the challenge points they face. They desired to create a support system that could ensure less attrition and more effectiveness for God’s kingdom.

To best meet the needs of leaders they created the “oasis model”, a retreat style home of hospitality equipped with skilled caregivers to provide a safe place for leaders to come rest, refuel, and be able to process through the issues they face in a supportive environment. Oasis hosts offer a transformative hospitality experience, leaders can encounter Jesus and be ready to return to work with fresh vigor and endurance.

The original oasis was in Sunriver Oregon and hosted by the Grissens; now Life Impact has 18 oases in 8 countries and has impacted over half of the nations of the world!
